Front wheel positioning includes four contents: kingpin caster (angle), kingpin inclination (angle), front wheel camber (angle) and front wheel toe. This is for the two steering front wheels, and for the two rear wheels, there is also the relative position of the installation with the rear axle, which is called rear wheel positioning. Rear wheel alignment includes wheel camber (angle) and toe-by-wheel toe. In this way, the front wheel alignment and the rear wheel alignment are collectively called four-wheel alignment.

(1) The vehicle is off track: We all know that the steering wheel has the function of automatically returning to the right. In fact, this is due to accurate four-wheel alignment. If one day you find that the car will involuntarily run to the left or right, you have to keep the steering wheel straight to keep driving in a straight line. At this time, you need to do four wheel alignment.

(2) Tire eccentric wear is serious: Generally, we will not check the tires when driving, so it is recommended that you check the tire condition once every 20,000 kilometers or 1 year to see if there is eccentric wear. The first step is to use the instrument to detect whether the four suspension parameters of the kingpin caster angle, kingpin inclination angle, front wheel camber angle and front wheel toe are within the normal range (original). The second step is to check the chassis status and adjust the four-wheel alignment. The four parameters of the kingpin caster angle, kingpin inclination angle, front wheel camber angle and front wheel toe are tested. If any of these parameters is out of If there are problems with these parameters, or if there is a serious deviation in a certain parameter, the difficulty and workload of the adjustment may not be of the same order of magnitude as the simple adjustment. Large difference is "difficult to adjust" than small difference: the larger the left and right wheel difference, the greater the deviation, the greater the adjustment workload, and some positioning angles cannot be adjusted if the difference is too large, so you can only choose to replace it suspension. The camber angle is "difficult to adjust" than the toe angle: the toe angle is the easiest to adjust, especially for the front wheels, which is just a matter of unscrewing the tie rod. The adjustment of the camber angle is different. The camber angle of the front independent suspension needs to be adjusted to the position of the steering ball head, while the rear non-independent suspension needs to be adjusted by replacing the gasket. If the deviation is too large, it cannot be adjusted and can only be replaced. The rear suspension is "difficult to adjust" than the front suspension: this mainly depends on the type of suspension. The more advanced the suspension, the better it is, and the more room for adjustment. The rear suspension is almost impossible to adjust because there are many "non-independent suspensions".
